The Nashville Mobile Market makes a stop at
the C.E. McGruder Family Resource Center Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center seeks to help improve the overall health of the communities it serves; for that reason, our C.E. McGruder Family Resource Center has partnered with the Nashville Mobile Market to make healthy food selections more accessible to the community. Beginning Wednesday, November 16, 2011, the grocery store on wheels started providing nutritious food options that include fresh produce, dairy and staple goods for prices comparable to those at local neighborhood grocers. The traveling grocer will continue to be open on the lawn of the McGruder FRC, located at 2013 25th Avenue North, every Wednesday from 2:30p.m. - 4:30p.m. The Nashville Mobile Market also accepts EBT and will be open to the public. MWCHC Awarded Mobile Health Unit GrantsProgram provides health services to school-aged children Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center (“Matthew Walker”) has been awarded grants from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Memorial Foundation, and the Cal Turner Family Foundation for school-based health services.
